1. Acceptance
By purchasing, downloading, or using any Oxid Apps software ("Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License grant
Each license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one Mac at a time. You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the Software. Licenses bought before 13 August 2026 keep the device allowance they were sold with.
Need the Software on more than one Mac? Buy more than one license — set the quantity at checkout, or buy again later with the same email address. Each license is a separate key covering one Mac.
3. One Mac at a time
The Software activates against a device identifier derived from your hardware. While a license is in use on one Mac, activating it on a second Mac is refused. This is enforced, not merely requested.
Moving a license to a different Mac is always allowed and takes seconds:
- Deactivate from inside the app on the Mac you are leaving, or release the device from your account. The license is immediately free to activate elsewhere.
- If that Mac is lost, sold, wiped, or otherwise out of reach, release the device from your account — you only need the email address you bought with, not the Mac itself.
An activation is never taken away from a Mac automatically. Quitting the app, shutting the Mac down, or leaving it offline does not free the license: it stays claimed until you release it by one of the two means above. This is deliberate, and it is what stops a copied key from being usable the moment the buyer closes their laptop.
To keep releases from becoming a way to share one license between people, a license may be released from your account at most three times in any 30-day period. Genuine use does not come close to that; if you need more, write to us and we will sort it out. Sharing keys, running one license on several Macs at once, or interfering with activation is prohibited and may result in revocation without refund.
4. Updates
Your license includes all future updates to the major version purchased. We may release new major versions as separate products at our discretion.
5. Bundles
Bundle purchases include all products listed in the bundle at time of purchase. Products added to a bundle after your purchase are not automatically included.
6. Free tier
Some products offer limited free functionality. The free tier may be changed at any time. Features requiring a paid license are clearly indicated in the Software.
7. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use the Software for unlawful purposes
- Share, distribute, or publicly host license keys
8. Intellectual property
The Software, including all code, design, and documentation, is owned by Oxid Apps. Your purchase grants a usage license, not ownership.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Use of the Software is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oxid Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
11. Termination
We may revoke your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the Software. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
